Automotive manufacturer Chevrolet has renewed its partnership with North America’s Major League Baseball.
The length of the multi-year extension was not disclosed, although the Detroit Free Press newspaper reported that the two parties have signed a three-year agreement.
Chevrolet will continue to serve as the official vehicle of MLB and has also been named the official automotive sponsor of the league and the Play Ball initiative, which encourages more people to take up the sport.
The partnership grants Chevrolet the right to promote its logo alongside that of MLB. In addition, the company will present the Ted Williams All-Star Game Most Valuable Player award and the World Series Most Valuable Player award.
Chevrolet has been a partner of MLB since 2005.
