Australian National Rugby League team Melbourne Storm has agreed a long-term extension to its partnership with entertainment group Crown Resorts.
The renewal is for five years, running from 2016 to 2020, and maintains Crown Resorts as a major partner of the club. Financial terms were not disclosed.
Crown Resorts will retain front-of-jersey branding and on-field sponsorship, while there will be a focus on money-can’t-buy experiences for Crown customers and benefits for members of both parties’ loyalty programmes.
The five-year deal is the longest single-term commercial contract signed by Melbourne Storm and will take its overall collaboration with Crown Resorts to 10 years.
Melbourne Storm chairman Bart Campbell said: “Crown Resorts and Melbourne Storm will work in unison to create unique, exciting and lasting memories for members, customers and fans alike. The longevity of a five-year extension offers a fantastic platform to deliver value to all parties.”
