Australian Big Bash League cricket franchise the Melbourne Stars has named its principal and co-major partners for the upcoming 2015-16 season.
Electronics retailer Dick Smith and automotive company Mitsubishi have extended their agreements with the Twenty20 team and will stay on as a principal partner and co-major partner respectively.
Dick Smith has renewed for a further two years in a deal that will culminate in the 2016-17 campaign, while Mitsubishi’s extension only covers the 2015-16 season. The latter will also remain the Stars’ official motor vehicle supplier. The two companies first teamed up with the club two years ago.
The Stars have also named self-storage solutions company National Storage a new co-major partner. The length of the deal was not disclosed.
“The Stars is proud to be associated with organisations of this calibre and leaders in their respective industries that have a strong set of shared values,” Clint Cooper, Melbourne Stars chief executive, said.
“We are working with all of our partners to develop engaging activations and offers throughout the season and are confident that these partnerships will help us to provide the best entertainment offering at matches.”
