English Premier League football club Manchester United has announced a four-year financial services partnership with Maltese commercial bank Banif Bank.
Under the deal, Banif Bank will produce and market the official Manchester United credit card in Malta.
Banif Bank customers using the United credit card will benefit from various team-related incentives, including discounts on the official club membership scheme and reduced entry prices for the Old Trafford museum and tour.
Card holders will also have the chance to win match tickets, signed merchandise and visits to the Premier League champion’s training sessions.
United has signed a number of similar deals in recent months, starting with Mexican banking group IVEX in June before partnering with Kenya’s AFB, MBNA in the UK, the UAE’s Emirates NBD Bank and the Commercial Bank of Qatar.
