Manchester City upgrades Mundipharma partnership

Healthcare and pharmaceutical business Mundipharma has extended and expanded its relationship with Manchester City to become a global partner of the English Premier League football club.

Mundipharma will continue to serve as the club’s official healthcare product partner as part of the new deal, the length of which was not disclosed.

Mundipharma’s Betadine brand will feature on the club’s medical team uniform and kit, with the product to also be used to treat players.

In addition, the Betadine brand will benefit from exposure throughout Manchester City’s digital displays at its Etihad Stadium home ground.

The partnership will continue to offer young fans from around the world the opportunity to train as part of co-branded youth development programmes, as well as providing them with the chance to watch Manchester City play through consumer-based promotions.

Mundipharma chief executive Raman Singh said: "Football is a powerful and emotive way to engage with people and communicate messages about personal healthcare and well-being in a way that is relevant and taps into the emotional fan experience. Manchester City’s success and continued ambition provides a global platform and extraordinary reach. Football is the language the world speaks."
