English Women’s Super League football team Manchester City has set a first for the competition by naming direct selling company QNet as its new sleeve sponsor.
QNet is an existing partner of City’s men’s team. The length of the deal with the women’s team was not disclosed.
As well as having a presence on the team’s shirt sleeves, QNet will launch a series of co-branded content and benefit from a match-day LED presence. Fan competitions and bespoke digital activations will also form part of the agreement.
City’s head of women’s football, Gavin Makel, said: “Women’s football is on the rise and connecting with our growing fan base in Asia, where QNet has a strong presence, is important to everyone at the club. Working together with QNet, we hope we can bring the magic of women’s football to even more people and provide our supporters across the globe with the opportunity to get even closer to Manchester City’s women’s team.”
