Vietnamese banking group Saigon Hanoi Commercial Joint Stock Bank (SHB) has extended its partnership with English Premier League football club Manchester City.
Terms of the multi-year deal were not disclosed, but it was confirmed that SHB will retain its status as the club’s official affinity card partner in Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia.
SHB will launch a new co-branded Visa Credit card in partnership with the club later this year. Customers who use the card will have the chance to win a host of City-related experiences.
In addition, SHB and City will give youngsters in Vietnam the opportunity to take part in training sessions run by professional coaches from the club.
SHB began its relationship with the club two years ago and, as part of the original partnership, City played a friendly game against the Vietnam national team at the My Dinh National Stadium in Hanoi in July 2015.
