The Ladies Professional Golf Association has unveiled NEC as the organisation’s official technology partner.
Under the agreement, a number of statistics-related features will be presented throughout the season across several of the association’s platforms.
NEC, its US subsidiary and the LPGA are developing a new ‘Stats Centre’ powered by NEC for media in 2018 and eventually fans will have an opportunity to interact with more LPGA historical player stats on LPGA.com.
The partnership will also include hospitality programmes in various markets around the world, as well as some technology showcases throughout the year.
"NEC is looking forward to building a strong relationship with the LPGA and is honoured to be part of a global sport that brings excitement to loyal fans all over the world. Our ambition at NEC is to contribute to businesses and customers on a global scale," Makoto Enomoto, NEC’s chief marketing officer, said.
