US insurance firm Geico has signed a deal to become the presenting sponsor of the Ladies Professional Golf Association’s Kingsmill Championship.
Terms of the agreement were not disclosed, but it was confirmed that the deal will begin with this year’s tournament, which takes place from May 14-20 at the Kingsmill Resort in Williamsburg, Virginia, in the US.
Golfers from around the world will compete for a $1.3m (€1.1m) prize purse at the 2018 competition.
Organisers are still searching for a title sponsor for this year's event.
