UCI WorldTour cycling team Lotto-Soudal has entered into a partnership with Belgian pharmaceutical company Eurogenerics.
The deal will cover the 2016 cycling season and ties in with the Belgian team’s Cycling Project, a five-year development initiative which began this year and culminates in 2020.
As part of the agreement, Eurogenerics’ branding will appear alongside that of its subsidiary brand, dietary supplement Mobiflex, on the left thigh of the team’s riders’ shorts. Mobiflex is part of Eurogenerics’ NeoCare division of products.
Eurogenerics will also appear on the shorts of Lotto-Soudal’s ladies and U23 squads.
Lotto-Soudal manager Marc Sergeant said: “With the Nationale Loterij and Lotto as a basic pillar, the long-term agreement with co-sponsor Soudal, the expansion of partnerships with Ridley, Vasco and G & V and new partnerships such as (the one) with Eurogenerics, we can speak of a strong range of companies, all firmly-footed in Belgium and that have great national and/or international interests.”
