French Ligue 1 football club Lorient has signed a three-year partnership with German sportswear manufacturer Adidas.
The Brittany club finished eighth in Ligue 1 last season and its new partnership with Adidas will run from 2014-15 to 2016-17.
Guillaume de Montplanet, brand director of Adidas France, said: “This is very good news for the preferred brand of the French as we will now associate the famous three stripes with one of the most popular clubs of Ligue 1 because of its strong regional presence.”
