Fashion company LF Corp has reached an agreement with the 2015 Gwangju summer Universiade to become the official sponsor for formal wear at the multi-sport event.
LF Corp was previously known as LG Fashion, but has undergone a re-brand to expand its business into the lifestyle and culture categories. The sponsorship with the Gwangju Universiade marks its first move into international sporting events.
Under the agreement, the financial terms of which were not disclosed, LF will design and produce all formal uniforms, including suits, shirts, and ties for officials, judges, and awarding agents.
LF will be able to use the title of official sponsor and the official marks and branding of the Gwangju Universiade in its own marketing campaigns, along with promoting through the event’s official channels.
The 2015 Gwangju summer Universiade takes place from July 3-14, with an estimated 20,000 competitors from 170 countries taking part.
