English Super League rugby league club Leeds Rhinos has renewed its sponsorship deal with Leeds Building Society.
The financial services company will retain its position as the club’s main sponsor until the end of the 2020 season after signing a new three-year deal.
Leeds Building Society will continue to benefit from front-of-shirt brand exposure as part of the deal.
The fresh agreement will see the company become the longest serving front-of-shirt sponsor in Super League history, with the 2020 season to mark its 14th year as a Rhinos partner. Leeds Building Society will also become the team’s longest serving shirt sponsor.
Peter Hill, Leeds Building Society chief executive, said: “I’m delighted we’re continuing our record-breaking partnership which keeps us exactly where we want to be – at the heart of strong communities in Leeds.
“We are both successful organisations who play major roles in the city and we share many of the same values. This is a winning partnership for us. Leeds Rhinos have enjoyed a highly successful period with Leeds Building Society proudly displayed on the front of their shirts.”
Leeds is the defending Super League champion after beating Castleford Tigers 24-6 in last year’s Grand Final. The 2018 Super League season begins on Thursday with Leeds’ trip to Warrington Wolves.
