Polish Ekstraklasa football team Lech Poznan has agreed a deal to retain bookmaker STS as its main sponsor.
STS will continue as Poznan’s front-of-shirt sponsor and will be represented on permanent and LED advertising boards at home games for two more seasons until the end of the 2016-17 campaign.
Additionally, Poland’s first legal bookmaking company will benefit from representation on the club’s website and social media channels, along with a television marketing campaign. Fans will also benefit from STS promotions, with prizes ranging including match tickets and signed merchandise. The sponsor will hold a hospitality allocation at the Stadion Miejski.
Financial terms were not disclosed but club president Karol Klimczak hailed the partnership as the “most advanced and comprehensive co-operation with a sponsor in the history of Lech Poznan.” STS will award financial bonuses to Poznan if it wins the Ekstraklasa or qualifies for the group stages of the Uefa Champions League.
Lech Poznan finished second in the Ekstraklasa last season and begins its 2015-16 campaign against reigning champion Legia Warsaw this weekend.
