German Bundesliga football club Borussia Monchengladbach has agreed a one-year extension to its partnership with the German arm of printing products and software company Kyocera Document Solutions.
The company first teamed up with the club in 2005 and the two parties’ existing agreement was due to expire in May. Kyocera will now continue to be an official co-sponsor of the club until the end of the 2016-17 Bundesliga season.
As part of the agreement, Kyocera will provide Borussia Monchengladbach with scanning, printing and copying services. The company will also receive advertising through two TV-related packages and will be offered matchday hospitality experiences at Borussia Park, the club’s home ground.
“Thanks to the commitment we were able to increase our brand awareness in Germany sustainably,” Uwe Götze, director of marketing at Kyocera Document Solutions Deutschland, said.
