Malaysian isotonic drinks brand 100Plus has agreed a deal to become the official beverage partner of the Kuala Lumpur Sports City complex.
According to Malaysian news agency Bernama, 100Plus has signed a five-year deal worth RM6m (€1.3m/$1.5m). RM5.5m will be given in cash, with RM500,000 to be provided in products.
As part of the deal, 100Plus products, along with other drinks produced by its parent company Fraser & Neave Holdings, will be sold at KL Sports City.
100Plus-branded drinks booths will be installed at the complex, while a themed cycling track will also be fitted around the newly-renovated National Stadium.
KL Sports City underwent major renovation work ahead of Kuala Lumpur’s staging of the Southeast Asian Games multi-sport event in August. It marked the biggest renovation project at the complex since the city hosted the Commonwealth Games in 1998.
