Italian Serie A football club Juventus has entered into a regional partnership with the International Bank of Azerbaijan.
The three-year deal will cover the 2016-17 to 2018-19 seasons.
As part of the agreement, Juventus has opened a new youth academy in the Azerbaijani capital of Baku. The facility aims to improve the standard of youth football in Azerbaijan, as well as the overall infrastructure of the sport in the country.
IBA has acquired naming rights to the academy, with its branding to feature on the back of the shirts worn by children during training sessions held at the facility.
IBA will also have the right to promote its products using Juventus’ logo and player images.
Giorgio Ricci, head of global partnerships and corporate revenues at Juventus, said: “This is the fifth regional partnership we have signed in the last 16 months, confirming Juventus’ continual growth on an international level.”
