Christophe Dubi, the International Olympic Committee's executive director for the Olympic Games, has revealed that joint sponsorship deals could be signed to cover both the Paris 2024 and Los Angeles 2028 summer Olympics.
The organising committees for the two events will also explore the possibility of collaboration on procurement, Dubi said.
Dubi, speaking during a two-day Orientation Seminar in Paris, said, according to French newspaper L'Équipe: “It’s something we have to discuss between the IOC and both sides.”
The first meeting of the Paris 2024 Coordination Commission will be held on June 18-19 next year, and Dubi said that representatives from Los Angeles 2028 would attend.
Paris and Los Angeles were awarded the Games during the IOC Session in the Peruvian capital of Lima in September.
