Intersport expands football portfolio with Mainz

Multinational sporting goods retailer Intersport has entered into a partnership with German Bundesliga football club Mainz.

The initial one-year deal will run until the end of the current 2016-17 season.

Intersport will benefit from branding exposure on pitchside advertising boards inside the team’s Opel Arena home stadium.

The company will also undertake a series of other activations during the course of the deal, including various match-day initiatives.
