The International Handball Federation has announced that its decades-long partnership with German sportswear company Adidas is set to end.
The partnership will expire on December 31, bringing to an end a relationship that has spanned more than 50 years.
The IHF said a new equipment supplier would be announced soon.
An IHF statement read: “The International Handball Federation wishes to explicitly thank Adidas AG for their professional and successful collaboration. Adidas AG and the International Handball Federation were partners for decades and worked together at many events, such as Olympic Games and World Championships.”
Adidas is one of five official partners of the IHF alongside Gerflor, Molten, beIN Sports and Intersport.
