Inter Miami names Heineken as first official sponsor

Major League Soccer expansion team Inter Miami CF has named Heineken as its first official sponsor.

In a multi-year deal, Heineken will become Inter Miami’s inaugural Founding Partner and its official beer. Terms were not disclosed.

According to a press release, Heineken will be given access to signage, intellectual property rights and retail activations.

Inter Miami, which is part-owned by David Beckham, will join MLS in the 2020 season. The team will initially play at the rebuilt Lockhart Stadium in Fort Lauderdale. A permanent stadium in Miami is also being sought.
