French sportswear and equipment brand Hungaria has been named the official ball supplier of the Coupe de la Ligue club football knockout tournament in France.
Hungaria will provide the balls for the tournament from the 2017-18 season through to the 2019-20 campaign after the contract was awarded by the French Football League (LFP).
The brand will replace German sporting goods manufacturer Uhlsport, the current ball supplier of the Coupe de la Ligue. Uhlsport will instead provide footballs for the French Ligue 1 top-tier competition from 2017-18 through to 2021-22, replacing current supplier, German sportswear giant Adidas, in a deal struck in November.
The LFP has also retained Uhlsport as its ball partner for the Ligue 2 competition across its 2017-18 to 2021-22 seasons.
