English Premier League football club Huddersfield Town has signed a sponsorship deal with firefighting appliances and equipment manufacturer Rosenbauer UK.
As part of the deal, Rosenbauer’s branding will feature on Huddersfield’s walk-out jackets ahead of matches during the 2018-19 season.
Huddersfield said the partnership is designed to boost awareness surrounding fire safety and support Rosenbauer’s recruitment as the firm expands. Rosenbauer is based in the West Yorkshire town of Meltham, near Huddersfield.
Rosenbauer UK founder Oliver North said: “The club is well recognised throughout the UK as alleged underdogs with a good old-fashioned Yorkshire-fighting spirit, and it has a loyal following. While we don’t expect many of them to be in the market for a fire truck, we’re delighted to align ourselves with our local, family-friendly club, which will extend our reach within the community and support our recruitment as we grow.”
Huddersfield’s 2018-19 season begins tomorrow (Saturday) with a home match against Chelsea.
