English Premiership rugby union club Leicester Tigers has named health products retailer Holland & Barrett as its new main sponsor, and extended its partnership with power tool manufacturer STIHL.
Under its agreement, Holland & Barrett’s branding will feature on the front of the club’s playing jerseys. The length of the deal was not disclosed, although it will commence with the 2016-17 season.
The company will also take on naming rights to the North Stand at the Tigers’ Welford Road stadium. Holland & Barrett has been a partner of the club since 2010.
Tigers chief executive Simon Cohen said: “The Tigers always endeavour to be at the forefront of the game's development in this country and in Europe, and the strength of our commercial partnerships is fundamental to that. We look forward to a long and mutually rewarding relationship with Holland & Barrett.”
Meanwhile, STIHL, a Tigers partner since 2014, will continue to serve as the club’s official garden power tool supplier. As part of its expanded deal, the company’s logo will be assigned a patch on the club’s playing jerseys for the 2016-17 season.
STIHL’s products will also be used to maintain Welford Road and the club’s training ground.
