Holden extends Netball New Zealand deal

Automotive manufacturer Holden has extended a partnership with the Netball New Zealand national governing body.

The renewal will run for two years, from 2015-16 to 2016-17.

Holden teamed up with Netball New Zealand back in 2008, supporting the body’s national team, the Silver Ferns.

The company also supports the ANZ Championship club competition, which features teams from Australia and New Zealand.

“We are passionately committed to working with Holden to get everyone talking about and engaging with netball at all levels in the same way that Holden strives to create cars that have everyone talking,” Netball New Zealand chief executive Hilary Poole said. “We know that Holden is in a great position to do that, with a major involvement at a national level, as vehicle sponsor for both NNZ and the Silver Ferns, and the successful ANZ Championship.”
