Hannover scores double deal

German 1.Bundesliga football club Hannover 96 has extended its marketing partnership with the Sportfive agency through to June 2019.

Hannover’s original contract with Sportfive had been due to expire next year, but the club has elected to retain the partnership, which sees the agency handle the overall marketing of the Lower Saxony club.

Sportfive first began working with Hannover in 2000, taking on its current role in 2007.

Hannover finished ninth in the 1.Bundesliga last season and the Sportfive announcement coincided with the news that Anheuser-Busch had extended its sponsorship of the club for a further five years until the summer of 2018.
