Guinness drinks to Grand National partnership

Alcoholic drinks company Diageo has reached a deal for its Guinness brand to become an official partner of Aintree Racecourse for the 2014 Grand National horse racing showpiece.

The brewer will also become an official responsible drinking partner of Aintree, distributing water across the three-day festival.

Working through to the Grand National race on April 5, Guinness will partner with Aintree to create on-course experiences for visitors.

This year, alcoholic ginger beer brand Crabbies debuts as title sponsor of the Grand National, replacing Heineken UK-owned beer brand John Smith’s.
