French insurance company Groupama Insurance has added Serie A team Udinese to its Italian football sponsorship portfolio.
Ahead of the 2013-14 season, Groupama is already backing Udinese’s top-flight rivals Lazio and Genoa as it aims to strengthen its brand and products in the Italian market, where it has 1.8 million customers.
Those customers are set to enjoy a range of benefits associated with Udinese as a result of the partnership, including access to pre-game and official club events.
