Singapore-based insurance company Great Eastern has renewed its co-title sponsorship of the country’s premier football division, the S.League.
The agreement covers the forthcoming 2014 campaign only, although the league remains open to a further extension. It is Great Eastern’s sixth successive year in partnership with the S.League and drinks brand Yeo is the other naming sponsor.
S.League chief executive Lim Chin welcomed the deal as providing vital financial backing for a range of fan-engagement features that are proposed for this season.
The 2014 S.League campaign gets under way with the Charity Shield match between Tampines Rovers and Home United on February 21 at Jalan Besar Stadium.
