NBA basketball team the Golden State Warriors have announced a multi-year partnership with the US arm of automotive manufacturer BMW.
BMW of North America will benefit from radio and online advertising through the deal, along with an outdoor and in-arena presence at the Warriors’ Oracle Arena, where several marketing initiatives are planned to take place over the next two seasons.
BMW also takes over the sponsorship and operation of the VIP Valet Lot at Oracle Arena, which will include vehicle displays during selected games and co-branded uniformed parking attendants and parking passes.
Fans will be able to interact with BMW vehicle and marketing displays at concourse level inside Oracle Arena, while the brand will look to further engage the Warriors support through initiatives such as “Ride and Drive” – where fans will have the opportunity to test drive a new line of BMW cars and SUVs in the arena’s parking lot.
