Australian NRL rugby league club the Gold Coast Titans has named TFH Hire Services as its new principal partner.
The deal will initially cover the 2018 NRL season, but includes the option to extend. The deal names TFH Hire Services as the team’s naming-rights sponsor.
The company’s branding will also appear on the front of the Titans’ shirts, while it will retain naming rights to the club’s TFH High Performance Centre at Parkwood.
TFH Hire Services is an existing sponsor of the Titans, and first partnered with the club in 2011.
TFH Hire Services’ owner, Owen Thomas, has also been named as a patron of the Titans, alongside former board member Paul Donovan.
TFH Hire Services managing director, Brett Thomas, said: “Like TFH Hire Services, the Gold Coast Titans are a family-owned operation and have strong values relating to a commitment to the local community.
“Whilst both of us have a commitment nationally, we know where we come from and we, like the rest of the region, want to see the Titans successful.”
The announcement comes after the NRL agreed a deal for the former co-owner and ex-chair of the Titans to become the new owners of the club.
The NRL and the Australian Rugby League Commission divested the ownership of the Titans to a company fully owned by the club’s former director Darryl Kelly and his wife Joanne, along with former chair Rebecca Frizelle and her husband Brett.
