AFL Aussie rules football team the Gold Coast Suns has named travel insurance company Cover-More as a major sponsor of the club.
Cover-More, an Australian firm, has agreed a five-year deal to serve as the exclusive travel insurance partner of the Suns.
The company’s branding will feature on the front of the team’s away and clash guernseys, the back of the home guernsey and on team training wear and support team apparel.
Suns fans will also receive access to unique club-branded travel insurance products as part of the deal.
Cover-More Group chief executive Mike Emmett said: “Cover-More already partners with Australia’s most well-known travel brands including Flight Centre and Virgin Australia and we see our new partnership with the GC Suns as a natural extension to that.
“AFL is a massive industry in Australia with a dedicated and passionate following and we are thrilled to associate our brand with both the AFL and one of the newest teams in the GC Suns.”
Cover-More last month agreed a deal to become the official travel insurance partner of English Premier League football club Arsenal. The three-year deal runs until the end of the 2019-20 season.
