Spieth Gymnastics has become the first sports equipment supplier to partner with the 2018 edition of the Commonwealth Games multi-sport event, which will be staged in Australia’s Gold Coast region.
The company will serve as the official gymnastics equipment supplier for the event.
Under the agreement, Spieth Gymnastics will supply all apparatus and podium equipment for use at training and competition venues.
Male gymnastics events at the Games will include floor, pommel horse, rings, vault, parallel bars and horizontal bar. Female athletes will compete on the vault, uneven bars, balance beam and floor.
Bart Prinssen, Spieth Gymnastics’ general manager of exports, said: “We have an experienced team in place to not only deliver, install and construct the equipment but remain involved through the competition phase to make sure all events run to plan giving athletes and spectators a seamless experience.”
The Games will take place from April 4-15 next year.
