Campeonato Brasileiro Serie A football club Fluminense has signed a shirt sponsorship deal with price comparison website Zoom.
The deal begins with Sunday’s game against Cruzeiro and runs until the end of the year, although discussions are taking place to extend the deal into 2018.
Zoom will replace the Universal Orlando Resort theme park as the team’s main shirt sponsor. Universal signed a short-term deal with the club last month.
Fluminense chief executive Marcus Vinicius Freire said: “Another great brand has partnered with Fluminense. We will be together until December, but we are already talking about 2018.
“And in the matter of ‘being different’ Zoom may appear on different spaces of the shirt, starting on Sunday against Cruzeiro. And it also brings us closer to the thousands of visitors that Zoom receives monthly.”
