Organisers of the Florida Cup club football competition have signed what they claim is an innovative partnership with Kin Analytics, an international consulting company which specialises in advanced data analytics solutions for the sport.
Kin Analytics will provide team and player performance advanced analytics reports and updated competition summary during this year’s event, which commences in the US today (Tuesday) and runs through to January 13.
Organisers said the partnership will provide the Florida Cup’s audience worldwide with innovative and engaging match statistics, as well as the four participating teams – Campeonato Brasileiro Série A pair Flamengo and São Paulo, Dutch Eredivisie club Ajax and German Bundesliga team Eintracht Frankfurt – with pre- and post-match reports that will include own and rival analysis.
Kin Analytics will provide the teams with actionable key performance indicators and metrics that objectively quantify the team’s match performance. The four coaches will also have access to in-depth data of top teams from different competitions, to understand the key characteristics of top performers, and discover areas of attention for improvement of their own teams when compared against benchmark references.
Selected stats provided by Kin Analytics will be used by the Florida Cup to engage fans in their official social media channels and on its website. Match information delivered by Kin Analytics will also be published by Florida Cup 2019 online to keep fans updated about the tournament.
