Portuguese Primeira Liga football club FC Porto has signed a partnership with online financial trading platform BuzzTrade.
BuzzTrade will become the club’s official online trading partner for the next two years, covering the remainder of the 2015-16 season and the 2016-17 campaign.
As part of the deal, the company will receive pitch-side advertising at FC Porto’s Estádio do Dragão stadium and will be given exposure on the club’s website and social media channels.
Tickets for FC Porto matches will be made available to BuzzTrade’s traders. The company will also be granted exclusive image rights, as well as player and stadium access.
“FC Porto’s global fanbase will enable BuzzTrade to introduce our innovative trading products to new audiences, who will be able to enjoy our user-friendly trading environment,” Tamar Schoppik, chief executive of BuzzTrade, said.
Adelino Caldeira, vice-president of FC Porto, added: “This partnership with BuzzTrade is the first of its kind for FC Porto and reflects our ambition and appeal as a global brand.”
