Lega Serie B, the governing body of the second tier of Italian football, has announced that Eurobet will be the title sponsor of the 2013-14 Serie B season.
The Italian firm is part of the Gala Coral Group and succeeds fellow betting and gaming company Bwin in the role.
Along with title sponsorship of the league, Eurobet will benefit from branding space on the shirt sleeves of all 22 Serie B clubs.
Paola Bausano, chief operating officer of Eurobet, said the co-marketing activities surrounding the partnership will centre on responsible gambling.
The Eurobet agreement comes after Lega Serie B last month agreed a five-year partnership with RCS Sport in a bid to introduce new marketing initiatives to the league.
The event management and media company will serve as Lega Serie B’s exclusive marketing partner for the four seasons spanning 2013-14 to 2016-17.
