Global information solutions company Equifax has become one of the founding partners of the Atlanta Falcons’ new stadium, while fellow NFL American football franchise the Tampa Bay Buccaneers has extended its deal with restaurant and pizza delivery company Domino's .
The 10-year Equifax agreement will incorporate the opening of the currently-titled New Atlanta Stadium in 2017 and builds on an existing four-year partnership between the Falcons and the Atlanta-based company.
The new agreement with the Falcons' owner AMB Sports & Entertainment will give Equifax a presence in the new stadium, which will also be the home of a yet-to-be-named Atlanta expansion team of Major League Soccer. Equifax will be granted a branded zone on each of the three main concourses inside the new structure.
The partnership also includes joint promotions, branded radio segments, prominent signage at the new stadium, on-field contests, digital programming and other advertising related to the company’s credit monitoring and identity protection products.
Richard Smith, Equifax chairman and chief executive, said: “For Equifax, this agreement is like making the first pick in the NFL draft because it allows us to be the exclusive credit and identity information partner of our hometown Atlanta Falcons and new MLS Atlanta team, and to make significant contributions to communities located on the Westside of Atlanta.”
Meanwhile, Domino's has extended its deal as an official team sponsor of the Buccaneers.
Domino's, which first linked up with the Buccaneers in 2011, will offer various promotions during the 2015 season, giving fans opportunities to win exclusive prizes and tickets.
