UK health insurance provider Vitality has reached a deal to become the principal sponsor of England Netball.
Under the multi-year agreement, Vitality will be the main sponsor of the England national team at the forthcoming Netball World Cup.
Vitality’s branding will feature on England’s kit at the tournament in Sydney, Australia, which runs from August 7-16.
Over the past year, Vitality has become an established presence in the English Premier League, signing deals with leading football teams such as Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester City, along with acquiring the stadium naming rights to AFC Bournemouth.
Jo Adams, England Netball chief executive, said: “We are delighted that the successes we have achieved as a leading women's sport have been recognised by a prominent brand in Vitality. This partnership represents the largest ever sponsorship deal in England Netball history and we can't wait to start our work together to continue the promotion of our wonderful sport.”
Meanwhile, England Netball has also sealed an official supplier agreement with base layer sportswear manufacturer Skins.
Skins will supply England Netball and its teams with its A400 range to serve the governing body's compression and recovery wear needs at the World Cup and beyond.
