The Netherlands Olympic Committee*Netherlands Sports Federation (NOC*NSF) has entered into a new apparel partnership with South Korean sportswear brand Fila.
The long-term agreement will cover the 2018 winter Olympic and Paralympic Games in Pyeongchang, the 2020 summer Games in Tokyo and the 2022 winter Games in Beijing.
As part of the deal, Fila will provide the Dutch Olympic and Paralympic teams with a range of apparel. Fila will also support the NOC*NSF’s Olympic Moves and Nationale Sportweek initiatives.
Gerard Dielessen, chief executive of the NOC*NSF, said: “With Fila, we have a clothing partner who believes in the cooperation that we engage in with unions and businesses to grow TeamNL and provides a sustainable recognisable face in the Netherlands and abroad.”
The deal brings an end to the NOC*NSF’s association with Japanese sportswear manufacturer Asics, which had provided clothing for Dutch athletes since 1994.
