English Premiership rugby union club Harlequins has announced a five-year deal, from 2014-15 to 2018-19, under which logistics company DHL will become its new main sponsor.
DHL currently serves as a second-tier official sponsor of the London club, but will step up to replace Etihad Airways as its main sponsor.
Harlequins chief executive David Ellis said: “DHL has been part of the Harlequins family since 2012 and our relationship has flourished during that time. They have proven to be a partner who really understands our sport and the values that drive it. This is a truly formidable proposition with a globally renowned brand working closely with one of the world's leading rugby clubs.”
Harlequins finished fourth in the 2013-14 Premiership season, losing 31-17 to Saracens in the play-off semi-finals.
