Football's Indian Super League (ISL) has teamed up with the logistics provider DHL ahead of the upcoming 2015 season.
As part of the deal, DHL will become the league’s official logistics and timing partner and deliver back-end logistics support for the competition.
The ‘DHL Winning Pass’ award will also be introduced this season for players who accumulate the most goal assists over the course of the campaign.
RS Subramanian, senior vice-president and country manager, India, at DHL Express, said: “We are partners with Manchester United, one of the world’s biggest football clubs, Bayern Munich and Copa America.
“Our partnership with ISL further strengthens our commitment to the sport and support to Indian football players to compete internationally.”
The 2015 ISL begins on October 3, when Chennaiyin hosts Atlético de Kolkata, the current champion.
