The Italian Olympic Committee (CONI) has entered into a partnership with global logistics company DHL.
The two parties have agreed a three-year agreement, which will cover this year’s summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and the 2018 winter Games in PyeongChang, South Korea. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Italy heads into the 2016 Olympics having finished eighth in the medal table at the 2012 Games in London, collecting eight golds and 28 medals in total. Rome is one of the four cities bidding to host the 2024 summer Games.
