Delta Air Lines has opted to extend its partnerships with MLB baseball franchises the New York Yankees and New York Mets.
Delta’s new agreements extend the US airline’s sponsorships with both teams, originally forged in 2008, and sustain Delta’s designation as the official airline and private jet carrier of both New York baseball teams through to the end of 2023.
Under the Mets deal, the airline will maintain the Delta Sky360 Club, a club-level space at the team’s Citi Field, as well as retain permanent signage inside the ballpark.
Delta will also run various promotional and hospitality programs throughout each season of the deal, such as road trip experiences for fans and sponsorship of cultural-themed regular-season home games.
For the Yankees partnership, Delta will maintain its signature Delta Sky360 suite premium seating area and club lounge at the team’s Yankee Stadium ballpark.
Delta will also continue to benefit from branding placement on a range of surfaces inside Yankee Stadium, as well as participate in various hospitality events and promotions for fans during spring training and the regular season.
