Indian milk products brand Mother Dairy has renewed its sponsorship deal with the Delhi Daredevils Indian Premier League Twenty20 cricket franchise.
The agreement will cover the 2017 season, making it the second consecutive year of the partnership.
The new IPL season starts tomorrow (Wednesday), with Mother Dairy serving as a principal sponsor of the Daredevils. The brand’s logo will be placed on the shirt sleeve of the lead arm, along with it being evident at key spots on match days.
S Nagarajan, managing director of Mother Dairy, said: “Our association with Delhi Daredevils stays as a natural choice for us since both the brands have grown in Delhi and loved by Delhi-ites. This prolonged association with the team is a matter of joy for us as it gives us an opportunity to further strengthen our bond with the residents of this city.”
As a part of the partnership, Mother Dairy is set to launch a mass campaign at select company booths, giving cricket fans the opportunity to express their support for their team. In addition, the brand will also launch a series of social media engagements with consumers.
The Daredevils commence their 2017 IPL campaign on Saturday with a trip to Royal Challengers Bangalore. Former India national team bowler Zaheer Khan (pictured) will captain the team.
