Financial services group Danske Bank has agreed to continue as the title sponsor of the Northern Ireland Football League’s Premiership and Women’s Premiership top-tier club competitions.
The deal will run for three seasons, from 2017-18 to 2019-20.
The men’s competition will continue to be known as the Danske Bank Premiership, while its sister competition will retain its Danske Bank Women’s Premiership name.
Managing director of the NI Football League, Andrew Johnston, said: “Danske Bank is a hugely respected business with a strong brand and it speaks volumes that they have continued to invest in the Northern Ireland Football League.
“Over the last number of seasons, we have built and developed an extremely beneficial relationship with Danske Bank. Attendance figures have increased year on year and that is in part to the fantastic work they do to bring more attention to the local game.”
Danske Bank first began its title sponsorship of the men’s tournament in the 2012-13 season.
