Air conditioning provider Daikin has signed up as the new shirt sponsor of Belgian Pro League top-tier football team Club Brugge.
The length of the agreement, which will begin with the 2015-16 season, was not disclosed. Daikin has served as a partner of the club for several years.
Daikin’s logo will be displayed on the front of the Brugge players’ shirts.
“Club Brugge and Daikin have more in common than just blue and black colours,” Daikin BeLux managing director Roderik Desiere said. “We believe strongly in internal development through training, so that talent continues to develop. In short, Brugge and Daikin are two brands that can benefit from being associated with each other.”
Brugge finished top of the 2014-15 Pro League regular-season table, but finished second to eventual champion Gent following the end-of-season play-offs.
