Cricket Ireland has signed Turkish Airlines as its headline sponsor for its senior men’s team.
The deal will last for an initial one-year period, with the option to extend by a further two years into 2020.
Ireland is set to play several one-day international matches this summer starting with a series against England next week. The national squad will then be involved in the Tri Nation series with New Zealand and Bangladesh.
Cricket Ireland’s commercial director, Dennis Cousins, said: “This partnership represents a significant step forward for Cricket Ireland that will see us working with a customer-focused, global brand, that has extensive experience in working with both high profile and large sports rights holders.
"With the marketing investment that will be provided by Turkish Airlines to Cricket Ireland, we’re confident that this will enable us to further raise the profile of Irish cricket at home and abroad and will support us with our ambition to make cricket mainstream in Ireland.”
