Campeonato Brasileiro Serie A football club Corinthians has signed a shirt sponsorship deal with vehicle tracking technology firm CarSystem.
Under the agreement, the financial terms of which were not disclosed, CarSystem’s logo will feature on the shoulders of Corinthians playing shirts for all remaining matches in 2014.
Government-owned bank Caixa Economica Federal holds Corinthians’ main shirt sponsor contract, with telecommunications firm TIM and education company Fisk also enjoying presence on the jerseys.
The CarSystem deal is the first major commercial move made by Corinthians’ new marketing board, led by former Nestle executive Izael Sinem.
