Beverage company Coca-Cola has renewed its sponsorship agreement with NBA basketball franchise Charlotte Hornets, according to the Charlotte Business Journal newspaper.
The exact terms of the deal, including its duration, have yet to be disclosed, but the report suggests that Coca-Cola’s Sprite brand will be the primary focus of the partnership.
Coca-Cola is one of the five founding partners of the Hornets franchise, alongside telecommunications company Time Warner Cable, chain store Lowe’s, healthcare provider Novant Health and beverage firm Budweiser.
Coca-Cola signed a 10-year sponsorship with the franchise, then known as the Bobcats, in 2004.
